Juice Bar Franchise

Juice bars have been around for many years now. They became mainstream in the late 1990s after consumer awareness increased due to the number of store openings. In the early 1990s independent juice bars ruled the turf; however, within a few short years, major players in the US market began to win market share. Today companies like, Juice It Up!, Planet Smoothie, Jamba Juice, and Smoothie King are mainstays in an industry that is poised for long-term growth.

Since the early 1990s, the juice and smoothie concept has traversed the globe. First to see the benefits and borrow the idea from their US neighbors was Canada, followed by Australia. The idea then bounced over to the United Kingdom and Ireland. From there, the rest of the world has embraced the juice and smoothie phenomenon.

The Juice and Smoothie Association, (JASA), was formed to educate consumers about the juice and smoothie industry, promote the juice bar franchises, and independent juice bars. Why?
